CTMD Research is an independent clinical research site conducting quality clinical research studies for Pharmaceutical companies and Clinical Research Organizations in Central Palm Beach County, Florida USA. Our therapeutic specialty is Family Medicine with expertise in varied health conditions of the body and mind and healthy-volunteer indications. Our experience is Phase 1 – 4, outpatient trials utilizing only Central IRBs, completing Start-up efficiently, and with an average time from Study Award to Site-Initiation readiness of fewer than 2-4 weeks.

CTMD has a 10,000 square foot medical facility with 15 exam rooms. Additional facilities include:

Clinical Research Experience
Experienced Staff
CTMD Research’s staff includes over 20 staff including Board-Certified Physicians, Nurses, Investigators, Sub-investigators, Clinical Research Coordinators, Participant Recruitment staff, Lab Personnel, and Research Assistants. All have expertise in human participant protection and are characterized by their responsiveness to sponsors and patients, research education, and quality trial execution. We are committed to assuring that all clinical trial protocols are performed with the utmost attention to detail putting patient safety above all. CTMD RESEARCH can execute outpatient studies in Phase 1, II, III, and IV. We are also active members of the Society of Clinical Research Sites.
Patient Demographics (2018)
Our physician providers have successful, busy private practices in Palm Beach County, Florida. Their patients are fortunate to have access to all our study opportunities. As do the large demographic population through our active community outreach programs. Our institution provides a gateway to a potential pool of 1.5 Million study participants that are residents of Palm Beach County Florida. (54% White, 23% Hispanic, 18% Black or African American, 3% Asian and 2 % other races)
Research Compliance
New for 2020, our team is Virtual Trial capable and have adopted electronic systems for completely paperless trial execution. All staff is well versed in regulations governing research including all applicable US Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and the International Conference of Harmonization / Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) Guidelines. Our Standard Operating Procedures are based on these guiding tenets and our compliance personnel conduct quality assurance reviews and continual updating and implementation of best practices. To further ensure best practices, and quality standardization, the organization has adopted electronic source documentation and electronic regulatory record-keeping across all projects. We can use central IRB’s and have a standard 3-5-day turnaround time for contracts.
Public Health Consideration
To the extent where it was practical and safe, the use of TELEMEDICINE study visits ensures study compliance and safety for all our study participants, staff, and study sponsors during the Infection Control community restrictions.
